6月は、雨が多く降ります。 この時期の雨が、梅雨です。 この月に、梅の実が熟します。 だから「梅雨」を、「ばいう」または「つゆ」と言います。 まず、沖縄が梅雨入りします。 そして、九州から東北まで梅雨があります。 北海道には、梅雨はありません。 毎日のように、雨が降りますが、日本には「恵みの雨」です。 生活や農業に、雨水は大切です。

6がつは、あめが おおく ふります。 このじきの あめが、つゆです。 この つきに、うめの みが じゅくします。 だから「梅雨」を、「ばいう」または「つゆ」といいます。 まず、おきなわが つゆいりします。 そして、きゅうしゅうから とうほくまで つゆが あります。 ほっかいどうには、つゆは ありません。 まいにちのように、あめが ふりますが、にほんには「めぐみの あめ」です。 せいかつや のうぎょうに、あまみずは たいせつです。

In June, Japan has abundant rainfall. The rain around this period is referred as tsuyu.uyu Tsuyu literally means "plum rain". The plum trees bear fruit during this month, so the rainy season became to be known as tsuyu. Some people call it tsuyu, while others may refer to it as baiu. Tsuyu season starts in Okinawa, then northwards from Kyushu to Tohoku. Hokkaido does not have the tsuyu season. It rains almost everyday, but for the Japanese, this rain is a blessing. The rainwater is essential for everyday life, and especially for farming.
