"Seijin-no-hi" (or "Coming of Age" Day) is observed in the month of January.
We celebrate those who have turned 20 years old.
Twenty-year-olds wear their Sunday best, sit for a portrait, and go to ceremonies held in their honor.
They now have voting rights.
Drinking becomes legal for them.

This year marks the start of "Happy Monday" policy.
Therefore "Coming of Age" Day has been celebrated on January 10.
