11月15日は、七五三です。
７才と３才の女の子と５才の男の子のお祝いです。

子供達は、晴れ着を着て神社にお参りに行きます。
子供の成長に感謝して、幸せを願います。

「千歳飴」を持って記念写真を撮ります。
家族揃ってごちそうを食べます。

11がつ15にちは、しちごさんです。
７さいと　３さいの　おんなのこと　５さいの　おとこのこの　おいわいです。

こどもたちは、はれぎを　きて　じんじゃに　おまいりに　いきます。
こどもの　せいちょうに　かんしゃして、しあわせを　ねがいます。

「ちとせあめ」をもって　きねんしゃしんを　とります。
かぞくそろって　ごちそうを　たべます。

November 15 is Shichi-go-san (or "Seven, Five, Three").
Girls aged seven and three, and boys aged five are celebrated on this day.

The children wear their Sunday best and go to shrines to pray.
Together with their parents, they give thanks for their health and continued happiness.

They take pictures with chitose-ame (or "A thousand-year-old" candy) in their hands commemorating the occasion.
Families gather around to feast.
