This workbook accompanies the Japanese for Busy People II, Revised 3rd Edition, and offers exercise problems for practicing the sentence forms and grammar introduced in each Lesson in the main textbook. The workbook is a useful tool for independent studies, as well as for private and group lessons with an instructor. A CD-ROM, that is included with the workbook, provides listening exercises. The reading materials include a "blog written by a Canadian living in Japan." Students will practice reading by following the blog entries, that correspond with each Lesson, and writing in comments. The exercises toward the end of the workbook involve words and expressions for more advanced conversations, for example, for setting up an appointment or exchanging information.
