Group Lesson Regulations

System and Payment

1. Tuition
1) Please pay the invoiced amount by the first day of the course.
2) There will be no refund of the tuition, should you decide to stop attending the course after it starts.
2. Tuition Prorating
1) If you sign up for a course after it has already started, AJALT will prorate your tuition and charge you for the remaining portion of the course.
2) The prorated tuition will be calculated based on AJALT’s Standard Rules on Tuition Prorating and Redirecting for Group Lessons.
3) AJALT cannot prorate for the classes that you miss, after the course begins. However, if you inform AJALT before you sign up that you will be forced to drop out in the middle of an upcoming course due to circumstances beyond your control, AJALT will be able to prorate your tuition.
3. Tuition Redirecting
1) If you wish to stop attending a course after it starts, you may redirect your tuition and use the amount you have already paid for another course or private lessons.
2) The amount of tuition that you may redirect will be calculated based on a balance remaining as of the day after you request to redirect.
AJALT’s Standard Rules on Tuition Prorating and Redirecting for Group Lessons will apply.
3) You must use up the amount you are redirecting within a period of one year from the day after you request to redirect.
4. Catch-Up Lessons for Core Competance Courses
1) Catch-up lessons are available to students who are signed up for a course and have missed classes or to students who are joining a course after it has started.
2) AJALT will recommend a catch-up lesson based on the student’s interest and progress in the course.
3) Additional tuition will be charged for catch-up lessons. Please pay your tuition when you have the catch-up lesson.
4) The catch-up lessons will be scheduled during the time period of the course for which you are or are about to be signed up.
5) The catch-up lessons will be scheduled on weekdays between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
6) If you wish to cancel or reschedule a catch-up lesson, please notify the AJALT office by 5:00 pm of the business day before the day of the lesson. Otherwise AJALT will not be able to reschedule or cancel the lesson, and you will be charged for it.
